Today I had the opportunity to speak with Ken and Lori Chezik of Fife Lake, Michigan. Ken and Lori have been involved with sled dogs for about 30 years.
A typical season starts in Michigan in the Fall, and ends in Alaska in the Spring. Working as a team with the dogs, Lori does much of the early season training while Ken works full time. When Ken finishes work for the season, they both jump into training full time.
I had a great time visiting with them and talking about the rare club they are in now as Rondy winners.
Enjoy.
